Training this week

 

Good morning everyone,

 

Training this week:

 

Tuesday - 19:00 - Interval Running - Albert Park, Abingdon, Meet by the Prince Albert Statue (this is due to the maintenance closure of Tilsley run track)

Intervals are the most effective way of improving your running speed and technique.

The session will be suitable for all abilities come along and quash those apprehensions, you will work hard, you will improve your running and you will have fun.

Dress appropriately for the weather, layers are best as you will warm up.

Also bring along a drink and a method of timing yourself if you have it.

 

Thursday - 19:00-20:00 / 20:00-21:00hrs - Pool Swim - Abingdon White Horse Leisure centre, OX14 3PJ

£3 payable to coaching staff on poolside (do not pay at reception)

Please come along to your usual session for a structured swim session that will improve your fitness and technique.

If you have them bring along your fins, hand paddles etc. Also bring a drink

 

Saturday  - 09:00 for 09:15 - Road Ride Depart - Milton Park Stores, OX14 4RS

 

This is a non-coached session. Open to all abilities. Arrive at Milton park at 09:00hrs and organise yourselves into groups of similar ability, plan a route and go and enjoy some of the fantastic riding that we have on our doorstep. Where possible there will be different groups to cater for all abilities. If anyone is willing to plan a route and lead a group please let me know.
