Training this week

NOTE: Change to the scheduled Saturday session

Tuesday - 19:00 – Running Intervals – Milton Park Stores, OX14 4RS

A very effective way of improving your running speed and technique.

The session will be suitable for all abilities, you will work hard, you will improve your running and you will have fun.

Dress appropriately for the weather; layers are best as you will warm up.

Also bring along a drink and a method of timing yourself if you have it.

Thursday - 19:00-20:00 / 20:00-21:00hrs - Pool Swim - Abingdon White Horse Leisure centre, OX14 3PJ

For those of you that swim from 8-9pm in lanes 2 and 3, the lanes are very crowded, if any of you can make the 7pm session the lanes are a little quieter but you will still get the same workout.

£3 payable to coaching staff on poolside (do not pay at reception)

Please come along to your usual session for a structured swim session that will improve your fitness and technique.

If you have them bring along your fins, hand paddles etc. Also bring a drink.

Saturday - 08:45 for 09:00 Start - Park run at Didcot, OX11 7AF, OR Abingdon Bridge

Come and join a large number of like-minded individuals for a fast and flat 5km run around the Lady Grove park. A number of club members regularly take part in this event so look out for those dressed in our pink and black kit. You must be registered with Parkrun and have a barcode to get an official time. This is completely free and very quick and easy to do. Just follow the link below.
