Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who attended the AGM on Tuesday, I think you will all agree that we had some great ideas and some changes to implement over the coming months. Thank you for your input; it is YOUR club at the end of the day, so your input is key!

Phil bought some samples of the new kit provider with him, we will be getting a larger range of sizes to try on, so please try and catch Matt (new kit officer) or him at a session soon. Once it is ordered, it is ordered and we won't be carrying much spare stock.
Secondly, we have a number of new and/or potential members joining us in sessions over the next few weeks, so if you see someone you don't recognise please do introduce yourselves and make them feel welcome as is our AVTC ethos. We were all new once!!
Training for this week:
Tuesday - 19:00hrs - Run Intervals - Milton Park Stores, OX14 4RS
Intervals are a very effective way of improving your run speed, this is a fun session using areas of the park for a run session that is suitable for all abilities.
Bring along a drink and dress appropriately for the weather.
I can't stress enough how suitable this session is for everybody. The coach who takes the session will have devised it for ALL abilities and you won't be 'at the back' and you won't be holding anybody up. Give it a whirl!
Thursday - 19:00-20:00 / 20:00-21:00hrs - Pool Swim - Abingdon White Horse Leisure centre, OX14 3PJ
£3 payable to coaching staff on poolside (do not pay at reception)
Please come along to your usual session for a structured swim session that will improve your fitness and technique.
If you have them bring along your fins, hand paddles etc. Also bring a drink.
There is no specific session set for Saturday, so if you want to get together to plan a ride, then please do so on Facebook and email me so that I can send it on to those who don't use Facebook.
