Didn’t we have some smashing weather this weekend, hopefully you were able to take advantage of it and get out there and do some swim/bike/running.
So training for the next 2 weeks is as follow – please read carefully as there are a few changes to times.
Tuesday 22nd – 19:00 – Indoor Spin - Park Club Gym, Milton, OX14 4RS meet in the reception area 5 minutes before.
Always a fun session, using indoor spin bikes. Based to music this popular class is a great way to improve your cycling fitness without having to go out in the cold and wet. The class is as hard as you want to make it as the bikes have adjustable resistance that you can set to your own required effort level. Be sure to bring a big drink and a towel. The pedals on the bikes are suitable for Trainers or they are compatible with Shimano SPD system (mountain bike cleat).
Thursday 24th – There will be no swim session on Christmas Eve so enjoy an evening off, if you do fancy a dip before digging into those festive treats the pool at The White Horse is open from 6.30 am – 4.00pm.
The most effective way of improving your running speed and technique.
The session will be suitable for all abilities so if you have not been to the track before, come along and quash those apprehensions, you will work hard, you will improve your running and you will have fun.
Dress appropriately for the weather, with the track sessions layers are best as you will warm up.
Also bring along a drink and a method of timing yourself if you have it.
Thursday 31st Dec – There will be no swim session on New Year’s Eve, however if you need to work a few mince pies the pool will be open 6.30 am – 4 pm. All the opening times can be found by clicking the delightful link below.
All that remains is to thank you on behalf of all the coaches for your commitment, smiles & continued support throughout 2015 and to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and an absolutely peachy New Year.
