Training

 

Monday - 19.00 - Run Social - Tilsley Park, meet at reception.


Whilst this is not a coached session, it will help develop your running endurance - we take a 10km (ish) route around Abingdon (shorter routes are available) and run in ability groups.  No-one will be left behind and there is ALWAYS someone to run with.  A great way to keep your running up AND have a mini social at the same time.  Win win.

 

 

Tuesday - 19:00hrs - Track Running - Tilsley Park, OX14 1PU

- Meet in the reception area 5 minutes before.
£4.20 payable to reception on entry.

 

The most effective way of improving your running speed and technique.
The session will be suitable for all abilities so if you have not been to the track before, come along and quash those apprehensions, you will work hard, you will improve your running and you will have fun.
Dress appropriately for the weather, with the track sessions layers are best as you will warm up.
Bring along a drink and a method of timing yourself if you have it.

 

 

 

Thursday - AGM - 1900, Kings Head & Bell, Abingdon

(the upstairs function room opposite the main bar entrance)
No swimming this week, as it is the club AGM, please come along and have your say on things you feel are working well with the club, things you would like to see added to the schedule - or just come along and listen......please feel free to bring cake with you!
