Registration is open for the Simon Chesher Memorial Ride on Sunday 27th September.
 
We’ve planned a scenic 40 miler on nice quiet roads, heading out from the Loose Cannon Brewery in Abingdon in small groups from 9am onwards.
 
There will be an AVTC feedstation, giving us the chance to regroup, pose for photos and enjoy the view with some of Pam’s famous flapjacks and brownies. And then it’s back again to the Brewery for some food and drinks. The first drink and some snacks will be covered by your entry fee with the rest being donated to charity.
 
There’ll be some trophies up for grabs with QOM and KOM prizes on the day, as well as an intermediate sprint segment and opportunities for newer riders to compete for most Strava segment achievements overall.
 
We don’t want cost to be a barrier to anyone joining the day, so there’s a lower price option (£18) to help cover costs and a higher price option (£25) which includes a larger donation to our club charity Thames Valley Air Ambulances. All surplus from the event entry fees will go to TVAA.
